I have a passion for assisting people to mark, celebrate and move through life events.  This is especially so when it comes to end of life transitions.  After 47 years as a nurse working primarily in Adult Critical Care Units and Emergency Rooms, I am very much aware of what patients and families can experience when one’s physical being is failing.
From my personal and nursing experiences with death, I have learned that those that have acknowledged their mortality, have considered its possibilities and have prepared for their eventual someday death, struggle less. I have also learned that when communications are clear, families struggle less. 
To help make the above more possible I:

 Provide education on many topics related to the fact that we are all mortal
 Facilitate a Death Cafe in Scottville, Michigan
 Am a Grief Recovery Method facilitator for individuals or in group settings
Can educate and help facilitate at home visitation and honorings after your loved one has died.
