About Me
I am a social worker in private mental health practice in Hillsdale and Jackson. I hold a Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan, and I have been a licensed social worker since 1998. I am also a nationally certified sex therapist, certified by the Americal Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT). I hold a macro and clinical social work license in the State of Michigan. I am a newly trained End of Life Doula (EOLD), having completed my training with The Dying Year in November 2024. I hope to focus my EOLD work on Life Review, Legacy Work, Reminiscence Therapy, and Advance Care Planning. I will be completing my ‘Respective Choices’ Advanced Care Planning with The Dying Year in April 2025. I am also a member of the board of Jeremiah Commons, a new conservation cemetery nonprofit in Jackson, Michigan. Jeremiah Commons will provide space for green burials.
