DESCRIPTION:About this Death Cafe \n\n\n\nI started going to Death Cafe in Ypsilanti and through that I found connection in the way my grief needed. I believe that by normalizing conversations about death we can better connect to other humans. I am on a grief journey\, the catalyst being the death of my son. I have felt a sense of community in folks who are not afraid of talking about death. I want to see that community of folks grow across the world. About Crystal L Schumacker \n\n\n\nCrystal Schumacker will be hosting these cafe discussions. Crystal is an Artist and parent in Dundee MI. Crystal has worked with local community based programs like Great Start and the ISD. She worked with these groups running and creating events and subgroups for people of all ages and abilities. Crystal has a drive for creating space where we can normalize the conversations around death and has a deep belief this will create a compassionate community for all.
