The Michigan Deathcare Collaborative is hosting a full-day community event on April, 11th 2026 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Together, we’ll explore what it means to prepare for the end of life – not alone, but in community.
Attendees will leave with a tangible item: a personalized planning binder filled with worksheets, resources, and practical tools to help you organize your wishes and important documents in one place. Throughout the day, you’ll hear from local speakers, learn about natural and community-based deathcare options, and discover resources you may not have known existed.
We know this work can feel daunting, emotional, and deeply personal. That’s why we’re creating a supportive space to help you take meaningful steps, easing the future burdens on your loved ones while advocating for your own values and needs.
Following the event, we’ll host monthly drop-in meetings to offer continued accountability, encouragement, and connection as you complete your plans at your own pace.
Open to everyone, the event will allow you to explore your end of life options, learn from local experts, and take meaningful steps toward making decisions that reflect your values and wishes. We will offer tools, resources, and conversations to help you feel more informed and in control of the choices that matter most.
